Ice trip #2 - Jan 27+28 2007

This trip was Don, Jim, Lenny + I . We went up to the DAk's again ( upper State New York ) Near Lake Placid. The first Picture we were playing around on some pretty thin ice on Top rope.

The second day we climed at another remote location off the beaten path away from the crowds.

This was the Martin Luther King weekend CCM Ice trip . Tons of friends and good climbing .

Ice climbing last night

Pic from last nights solo climbing . I stayed close to the deck as I was out ibn the woods all alone and did not need to get hurt. Basically I got on some verticle ICE and did a workout hanging off my ICE tools putting in screws+ then taking then out. I got a great pump and did not have to go to the GYM.

It's Dark + Cold 7:15 at night 2/20/07 and I'm getting ready to drive down the road hike in on the R/R tracks - rail trail and do some night ice climbing. Beats TV.......
